Summary: Players tell a story by finishing each other's sentences.

First round: The oldest person randomly selects a card from the deck. The person who starts the story begins by talking about a character -- one that is in the card or that the person imagines could be there. The person says only 1 full sentence. The next sentence stops half way. For example, someone may say, "Ferdinando was a hot-headed boy of 12. He used to live at home but..."  At this point, the story is passed to the next player to the left, who finishes the player's sentence and then gives a sentence and a half of narration. Keep the story going with only one card as long as you are able.

It may be difficult to keep track of what a sentence is when speaking. Think of it as one complete thought.

Second round: A second card is randomly drawn from the deck. The story continues as before, with each person passing off the story mid-thought.

Third round (optional): If the group chooses, a player draws a third card from the deck. The story continues as before, with each person passing off the story mid-thought.

Final round: Draw one final card. The story must end with at least one element from this card. Work together to conclude the story, either in turn or collaboratively. There are no limits on how long each person may speak.
